50 Cent sympathizes with Will Smith over Jada Pinkett-August Alsina affair, Internet says couple is ‘unbothered’

Published

on

50 Cent is the most recent celeb to weigh in on the August Alsina-Jada Pinkett Smith debacle, and it appears the rapper’s sympathies lie with Will Smith.

In a tweet on July 11, 50 Cent shared, “Got Damn Will look hit, SMH what the f**k do ya do when this s**t happens? LOL Nah it’s not funny. S**T! #bransoncognac #lecheminduroi,” along with an image of Will during the recent episode of ‘Red Table Talk’ with Jada with a snippet from their conversation below it that read, “Jada: ‘entanglement’ / Will: ‘a relationship’.” 50 Cent is evidently on Will’s side and appears to feel his pain, and from the looks of it, so does the rest of social media.

One user tweeted, “Even his acting skills couldn’t hide the pain in his eyes!” while another said, “Will is hurting big time: it’s written all over his face.” Another user shared, “Will giving me them vibes from I am legend, when he got tired of fighting them damn vampires.” Others commented on Jada’s use of the word ‘entanglement’ while Will was clearly referring to it as ‘a relationship’. One person said, “Will said let’s call a spade a spade baby!!” and another commented, “Yeah, he had to literally pull the truth out of her. Not a good look Jada!”

But not everyone is taking Will’s side. One user stated, “Please, Will got his mess too…” to which another responded, “Jada basically said he had side pieces too when he mentioned getting back at her.” And one user said, “When a woman’s fed up. #boom. Men been cheating for centuries but when the tables turn they can’t handle it…”

Many also disagreed that Will was hurting, and instead shared they believed he was perturbed, to put it mildly. One user said, “This is not the face of ‘oh you broke my heart’, or girl why you do this to me type of feeling, this is the face of ‘I thought you said August wasn’t going to cause a problem or raise awareness, thought you said you will not let it happen in a way that will embarrass me publicly’.”

Judging from the RTT episode, though, it doesn’t seem like Will or Jada are particularly bothered by the situation. One viewer quoted from the episode, tweeting, “Will & Jada: We ride together we die together, bad marriage for life #redtabletalk,” while another explained, “‘Bad marriage for life’ to me means throwing away any judgement that comes from not always living up to society’s standard of a ‘good’ marriage and choosing instead to commit to always working through things and communicating no matter what.”

Another user laughed, “B***h they said bad marriage for life,” before adding, “but I definetly agree. They got that unconditional love.” And another user said, “August thought he was doing something, but Will & Jada’s Unbothered Level is over 9000.”

Of course, most commenters found humor in the situation and have in the process given birth to a new stream of memes. One user quipped, “We’re all in July but Jada has been through August and back,” while another tweet read, “Why did July about August?” Others began asking, “Are you one of Jada’s Entaglements?” while some users began photoshopping images of Jada and August as the new leads of the film ‘Entangled’. And some were totally uninterested in 50 Cent’s views on the situation, instead asking him, “Are u going to reply to TI tho,” in reference to T.I.’s recent Verzuz challenge.

The Midnight Gospel recap: Episode 7, ‘Turtles of the Eclipse’

Episode 7 of The Midnight Gospel deals with the “death-industrial complex.”

The Midnight Gospel episode 7 begins with Clancy (Duncan Trussell) to the planet Blank Ball. Taking the form of a “creamy” version of himself in the new universe, he begins setting up a waterslide for himself. However, before he can fully enjoy the slide, all hell breaks loose and he ends up meeting Death (Caitlin Doughty).

Death needs a form so she can manifest. After some varied and silly forms, there’s a compromise where Death takes the appearance of the classic Grim Reaper but with a silly eye. After Clancy meets some sinister selves in a mirror, he and Death end up discussing what she called the “death industrial complex.”

The Midnight Gospel: A brief history of death in America

As they weave their way through the fantastical world of Blank Ball, Clancy and Death discuss things like embalming and its origins in the American Civil War. It turns out death and funerals were a bigger problem back then. Trains began to refuse the task of transporting bodies, as they would end up stinking the place up. So, ultimately, professional embalming was born.

Interestingly, hey initially used arsenic and sawdust to preserve bodies, rather than formaldehyde. Because there was money to be made, embalmers ended up promoting and expanding the trade. Of course, as they discuss details like this, strange things happen to them on a boat ride, and a cycloptic giant throws them around. However, as is typically the case in The Midnight Gospel, the conversation continues mostly unabated.

The Midnight Gospel: Making bodies “safe”

To help popularize their industry, embalmers claimed they made dead bodies safe, and death became a business for funeral homes. In contrast, Death promotes the option of traditional home funerals. As they discuss Death, Clancy mentions that his dad died of the “slow fades” during the sector wars, which will surely be open to interpretation.

Death actually saves Clancy at one point, as he falls over a precipice. She says it’s not his time to die, but that he’ll ultimately die on a “rolly chair.” After contemplating death, Clancy finally gets a hose for his waterslide, but it’s only a brief part of the adventure.

Also, understandably, he throws out his rolly chair when he gets home, and it lands in the wobble where we briefly meet Captain Bryce (Steve Little) from the previous episode. The episode also features the sleeping elevator Emperor (Phil Hendrie), who beats Clancy and company with a scepter.

This episode is obviously a wild and morbid ride, yet it further establishes the series as a comprehensive philosophical entity.  In fact, it’s quite possibly one of the most philosophical shows one could find on Netflix, and perhaps on any other streaming network.  Sure, it can be confusing, but there is a method to the madness and Clancy is usually relatable, to some degree.

Chrissy Teigen Accidentally Just Revealed Baby #3’s Gender! Watch!

Published

This is EXACTLY the kind of gender reveal we would expect from Chrissy Teigen!

John Legend’s wife hopped on her Instagram Stories to give an update about her “high risk” pregnancy. In the update, she explained a bit further exactly what led her to be placed on bed rest — but she also let slip a very telling pronoun in the process!

Related: Ashley Tisdale Is Pregnant!

She shared:

“My placenta sucks. It’s always been kind of the bad part of my pregnancies with Luna. With Miles, it just stopped feeding him, it stopped taking care of him. I was stealing all his food because I was getting huge but he wasn’t getting big at all. He had to come out early and Luna had to come out early. I was induced both times. Anyways, it’s super weak. And it’s so weird ’cause the baby is really, really healthy and he’s big, he’s probably — oops!”

Yup. “HE.”

See the hilarious moment she realizes what she’s done (below)!

It’s a boy!

The Lip Sync Battle star quickly put a hand over her mouth, and confirmed the slip of tongue by saying:

“I am stupid…”

But not as dangerous as some gender reveals, as she laughingly pointed out later on Twitter.

Because this was an IG Story and not a Live, presumably the 34-year-old could have avoided posting that part of her message — but that’s just not Chrissy’s style. Instead, she left the post up with the text, “hahahahaha might as well tell you.” She was careful to avoid any gendered pronouns in the rest of her update, however. She continued:

“Anyway, so yeah it’s growing beautifully. Everything is good, I’m feeling good but my placenta is really, really weak and it’s causing me to really bleed a lot.”

We hope Chrissy has a peaceful, healthy rest of her pregnancy — and we’re so excited for Luna and Miles to have a new baby brother! Congratulations, Legends!
