‘A.P. Bio’ Season 3 Trailer Gets Wilder, Weirder, and Wronger Over at Peacock

Published

on

A.P. Bio started out at NBC, but the third season of the hilarious high school comedy series is coming to Peacock next month. Glenn Howerton (It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia) stars in the series as disgraced Harvard philosophy professor-turned-high school A.P. biology teacher Jack Griffin. Throughout the series so far, he has been coming up with schemes on how to further his career and using his students to help him, all while avoiding any lessons about biology. But as this new trailer reveals, this year will be much harder.

A.P. Bio Season 3 Trailer

This season, Jack has to deal with the fact that the high school secretary Helen (Paula Pell) has chosen to go back to school to get her diploma, including enrolling in A.P. Bio. But that was covered in the teaser trailer for the new season, and this latest trailer instead focuses on the wild, weird and just plain wrong antics of Jack and his class without tapping into the continuing narrative arc that has unfolded so far in the first two seasons. That’s probably for the best since Peacock wants new viewers to seek out the show, potentially without having seen the first two seasons (though they’re available on Peacock to easily catch up).

The best part of this trailer is what seems like the loosening of restrictions on the show’s profanity. It appears one of the episodes might lean into their newfound freedom with the class asking if they can swear now. But when one of the students lets out a stream of obscenities, they’re still censored with beeps, so it may just be the editing of the trailer to make it seem like the show could get a little edgier with its language.

Patton Oswalt, Mary Sohn, Lyric Lewis, Jean Villepique, Paula Pell, Tom Bennett, and David Neher also star in A.P. Bio. But those are just the adult characters, and it’s the A.P. Bio students who are the secret MVPs of this series, including Aparna Brielle, Allisyn Ashley Arm, Jacob McCarthy, Miguel Chavez, Spence Moore, Jacob Houston, Eddie Leavey and Sari Arambulo.

The third season of A.P. Bio, executive produced by Mike O’Brien and Seth Meyers, arrives on Peacock this fall starting on September 3, 2020. Here’s the official series synopsis:

When disgraced Harvard philosophy scholar Jack Griffin (Glenn Howerton) loses out on his dream job, he is forced to return to Toledo, Ohio, and work as a high school Advanced Placement biology teacher. As he comes crashing in to Whitlock High School, Jack makes it absolutely clear he will not be teaching any biology. Realizing he has a room full of honor roll students at his disposal, Jack decides instead to use the kids for his own benefit. Eager to prove that he is still king of the castle, Principal Durbin (Patton Oswalt) struggles to control the force of nature that is Jack Griffin.

Denise Richards Tells Garcelle Beauvais Why She Left ‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’

Denise Richards opened up to pal Garcelle Beauvais and her The Real cohosts about why she decided to leave The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

In an interview set to air on Monday, September 21, the Bold and the Beautiful actress, 49, tells Beauvais, 53, that “it was actually a really tough decision” to exit the show after butting heads with almost all the Housewives amid drama with Brandi Glanville, who claimed the pair had an affair (which Richards denied).

“I’ve been a fan of the show and had a lot of fun doing my first season,” Richards told Beauvais and her cohosts, Loni Love, Jeannie Mai and Adrienne Bailon, in a clip from the season 7 premiere posted by People. “And obviously my second season was very challenging and, you know, I went back and forth with it, and at the end of the day I decided it was time for me to move on and, you know, focus on other projects that I have and, you know, just do that. But I am glad that I did it, though.”

Bailon then asked her new cohost, Beauvais, about her statement claiming that if Richards left the Bravo hit, she would too.

“I did say that,” the Spider-Man: Homecoming actress admitted. “You know what, I had a really great time doing the show, it’s up to Bravo, but I’m definitely up for a next season.”

Richards added that she “had a lot of really fun moments” with Beauvais. “You know, all these dinners kind of go sideways quickly and her and I would have side conversations and no one else would really pay attention or hear us cause they were too busy talking about themselves so [we] would just look at each other and laugh at that.”

Richards added that it meant a lot to her to have the Jamie Foxx Show alum’s support. “Garcelle, it almost makes me want to cry,” she said. “I truly could not have gotten through this season without you, honestly. She is a girl’s girl. A good friend. Your loyalty is beyond and I really could not have gotten through this season without you.”

A rep for the Wild Things actress confirmed her departure from the Housewives franchise on September 9 before the second installment of the three-part RHOBH reunion special aired.

Richards was at odds with her costars during season 10 after expressing concern about the women discussing threesomes at a dinner party near her teenage daughters, Lola and Sam, who she shares with ex-husband Charlie Sheen. She then was accused of liking mean tweets about her fellow Housewives. The Love Actually star sent a cease and desist letter to Glanville after the podcast host claimed she had a sexual encounter with the actress while visiting her on set in April 2019. She also sent a legal letter to Bravo to ask the network to remove footage related to the Drinking and Tweeting author’s allegations.

Jessica Mulroney Calls Meghan Markle “Family” in Rare Social Media Post

  • Jessica Mulroney recently made a statement about her friendship with Meghan Markle.
  • Jessica shut down rumors of drama with Meghan in an Instagram story.

Jessica Mulroney is finally speaking out about her friendship with Meghan Markle. Ever since she was called out by lifestyle writer Sasha Exeter after making some tone deaf comments, rumors have been circulating that her friendship with Meghan had ended.

Jessica is now claiming that she and Meghan are still BFFs. “I’m going to tell this once and for all. Meghan and I are family. She is the kindest friend and has checked up on me everyday,” she wrote on her Instagram Story. “Tabloid culture is atrocious. It creates lies and hurtful storylines. Stop feeding into it. Done.”

Before their alleged falling-out, Jessica and Meghan were super close and had been friends for a decade. Jessica’s daughter, Ivy, was a bridesmaid in Harry and Meghan’s wedding, and her twin sons, John and Brian, were page boys.

But, during Jessica and Sasha’s social media drama, Jessica brought up her friendship with Meghan, which Meghan reportedly found “extremely offensive.” A source told Us Weekly at the time that “Meghan considers the relationship to be done.” An additional source spoke to The Sun, saying, “Jessica’s team [has] made it clear that she feels completely ditched by Meghan and fears she is going to cut her out of her life for good. She’s completely distraught and devastated because Meghan has done nothing to stand up for her publicly.”

Plus, to make things even more complicated, Jessica recently posted (and quickly deleted) a pic from Meghan’s wedding, furthering speculation that they were still on the outs. So, which is it? Friends or frenemies?

Praise Be, ’The Handmaid‘s Tale‘ Season 4 Is Back in Production After Serious Delays

Published

on

By

When Hulu renewed The Handmaid’s Tale for a fourth season, it’s third wasn’t even over yet, so it looks like we’re not getting out of this dystopian nightmare anytime soon!

What the hell is going to happen to Nick? Is June ever going to get out? Do the Waterfords ever actually get Nichole back? There are so many questions that need to be answered.

Here’s everything we know about season 4, which thanks to serious production delays is admittedly not that much…yet.

There‘s going to be one.

Okay, yes, so you probably deduced that based on the headline for this article, but the news is finally official that Handmaid’s is getting another season. Thank god, praise be, let the lord open, etc.

But it’s super delayed.

The process of actually creating the new season has hit major snags thanks to COVID-19 delays, but production is back up and running in Toronto as of September 2020.

The new release was originally supposed to be fall 2020, but Hulu announced that new seasons have been officially pushed to 2021. There’s no specific Handmaid’s Tale season 4 release date yet, but basically this all means we have a long way to go before we actually see it.

Even so, Hulu gifted us a teaser.

The good people of Hulu still went ahead and dropped a teaser trailer for The Handmaid’s Tale season 4, setbacks be damned. It reuses footage from previous seasons, but there are glimpses of what’s to come, including Commander Lawrence calling the escaped children “June’s legacy,” and Aunt Lydia seething about June.

Elisabeth Moss gave the indication that the next season would be just as brutal.

In an interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Elisabeth didn’t give much info on season 4, but she did say this:

“When people say the show is hard to watch, I get my hackles up,” she said. “If you can’t face our show, then how are you going to face what’s actually happening in the world?”

“It’s shockingly relevant. It’s important to hold that mirror up to society and to ourselves to try to get people to face what’s going on, before it’s too late.”

It’ll have 10 episodes instead of 13.

Yes, season 4 will be a little shorter than anything previously, but showrunner Bruce Miller said it’s not cause for alarm.

“From my point of view, [the decision] was 100% creative,” Miller told IndieWire. “Some storylines just seem to shake out as a 10-episode story, in my eyes.”

This likely won’t be the final season.

Season 4 won’t be wrapping things up in the series, according to executive producer Warren Littlefield. He said at the Television Critics Association winter press tour that there’s still more in the works.

“We have not planned season 4 to be the end, but we also look to Margaret [Atwood]’s book The Testaments and know that that story takes us 15 years into the future,” Littlefield said. “We don’t see ending it in [season 4], and I can honestly say to you, we don’t have a definitive out. But I think we want to keep the bar high, and it would not be a bad thing to leave the audience wanting more, and then we could ideally shift into The Testaments.”

The new season has some major questions to answer.

Throughout the last few episodes of season 3, the show has raised a lot of questions that it has not answered. Mainly, how the hell do the D.C. handmaids eat? And why does no one on this show have a Boston accent?

Hopefully, we’ll get some answers next season to these totally irrelevant yet still confusing questions.
