Bella Hadid and Hailey Bieber Leave Lockdown for France In Versace’s New Fragrance Campaign

Published

on

Not even a global pandemic can stop Bella Hadid and Hailey Bieber from performing their model duties to the utmost, jetting overseas in June to shoot Versace’s latest ad campaign.

Today, the Italian luxury fashion label revealed the results of that shoot, photographed by Harley Weir and starring the two models wearing a number of swimwear and club-ready looks to advertise the brand’s new Dylan Blue and Dylan Turquoise fragrances. Bieber also walked in Versace’s fashion show for the first time in December 2018, her first runway appearance after marrying Justin Bieber in a private civil ceremony in New York. Bella, on the other hand, is a longtime Versace favorite, regularly appearing on the catwalk for the brand, starring in its Fall 2018 and Spring 2019 ad campaigns, and posing for the Kith x Versace collaboration collection last year.

Rumors first started flying that Hadid and Bieber were working for Versace at the end of June when Page Six confirmed that the pair had been sent to Cavallo—a small French island between Corsica and Sardinia in the Mediterranean—to do one of the first in-person fashion photoshoots since the pandemic began. Prior to that, designers were largely relying on models photographing themselves at home, over FaceTime, or via drone as a way to create new content while still respecting lockdown restriction taking place in many countries around the world. France began easing its own lockdown regulations at the beginning of June and a source confirmed to Page Six that all those involved in the campaign took every precaution to protect against the spread of COVID-19.

Miley Cyrus Reportedly Dropping A New Song About Liam Hemsworth Being Bad In Bed!

Is it drag your ex season or what???

In her press tour for new single Midnight Sky, Miley Cyrus has been totally open about her divorce and using heartbreak as her muse. Her other muse, of course, is ex-husband Liam Hemsworth, who has clearly provided the pop star with a LOT of material.

Now that we know the scathing breakup anthem Slide Away was actually written before Miley and Liam broke up, we can say Midnight Sky was actually Miley’s first single of the post-Liam era. On that track, she sang about “being tied up in [his] ropes” and how she doesn’t “belong to anyone.”

Unsurprisingly, that’s not The Last Song we’ll hear about the decade-long relationship. Ha! According to a source for The Sun, the former Disney star has plenty more where that came from — and some of these lyrics are VERY shady!

Here are the alleged lyrics from one song, titled Win Some, Lose Some:

“Last night was the nail in the coffin, Lord knows we were already dead / Look back and the memory’s haunted, can’t believe we did it again, yeah / Can’t count all the times that I faked it, thank God for the thoughts in my head.”
“You know me the best, but you hurt me the worst, my darling. I can’t pretend anymore.”

OUCH.

All the times she faked it?? She’s totally saying he was bad in bed!

The Hunger Games star had apparently already formed a “low opinion” of his ex wife in the year since their split… we can’t imagine her calling out his skills in the bedroom will make matters any better in that regard.

According to some other leaked lyrics, though, the 27-year-old is NOT sorry for how things went down, and presumably not sorry for making sweet music about it, either. On a track called WTF Do I Know, she allegedly sings:

“Maybe getting married just to cause a distraction.”
“You wanted an apology? Not from me. / I had to leave you in your own misery. / So tell me, baby, am I wrong that I moved on? / And I don’t even miss you.”
“Thought that it’d be you until I die, but I let go.”

Both of these songs are supposedly in contention for Cyrus’ upcoming 7th album, She Is Miley Cyrus. The tracklist hasn’t yet been finalized though, so it’s possible these songs won’t make the cut, per The Sun.

It’s a bit funny that Miley spoke out about being “villainized” by the press and then proceeded to drag Liam’s name through the musical mud as much as possible. At the same time, we’ve got to hand it to the Aussie actor… he’s inspired some incredible hits, from Wrecking Ball to Malibu and now seemingly Miley’s entire next album! He may be one of the most prolific muses ever… if maybe not the most prodigious…

Nocturnal review – girl meets older man in seaside drama | Film

Published

There are good, sincere performances here, and it is directed with confidence. But I couldn’t make friends with this film because of some social-realist cliches and a contrived, high-concept plot. Nocturnal deserves praise for giving us a third act where so many films, of whatever sort, don’t. But this didn’t feel convincing.

Lauren Coe and Cosmo Jarvis do sterling work as the two leads. Laurie is a 17-year-old newcomer at her school in a seaside town; she is doing her best to fit in, and is part of the athletics track team. Pete is a painter and decorator in his 30s who is employed to work on some school outbuildings; he is a notorious philanderer and womaniser who hangs around the sports field and soon becomes obsessed with Laurie, and she – bored with her goody-two-shoes image – starts flirting with a handsome older guy. Their relationship progresses, though platonically, and it seems in some ways more meaningful than Pete’s one-night stands. Pete is strange and obsessively guilt-stricken when Laurie starts frankly suggesting sex: has he developed a conscience?

There are some nice scenes and I loved the “silent disco” sequence in which Pete tries dancing with Laurie in a boyfriend-girlfriend “date” scenario, but finally explodes with self-consciousness and walks out. Other scenes were not quite so strong: the one where the two mess anarchically around in the scuzzy seaside amusement arcade feels as if it has been done many times before in films like this. Coe and Jarvis are really good actors. They are selling it hard and the whole film is technically accomplished, but for me the story was glib.

Christina Aguilera Sounds Off on Kissing Madonna at the 2003 VMAs

Christina Aguilera is taking a trip down memory lane.

During a conversation with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe, the “Genie in a Bottle” singer reflected on her greatest moments in pop culture, namely, her iconic performance at the 2003 MTV Video Music Awards with Madonna and Britney Spears. Yes, Madge and Brit’s kiss stole the show that night, but Xtina was also there.

Back in 2018, Christina said she felt “left out” out of the media firestorm that erupted after the pop princesses locked lips, but nowadays she doesn’t see the moment as all that groundbreaking.

“Shock value gets more and more extreme or whatever,” Christina told Lowe. “But honestly, at the time, yeah, I never thought anything of it. It was like, ‘Okay, it’s two girls kissing.’ It wasn’t shocking back then. It’s not shocking now, to me. But it’s so many things.”

Christina also noted Madonna’s strong impact on her own musical career.
