Caitlyn Jenner Talks ‘KUWTK’ Coming to an End, Kanye’s Presidential Campaign, and New YouTube Show

Published

As one Kardashian/Jenner chapter is closing, another one is opening. “Extra’s” Billy Bush spoke with Caitlyn Jenner today about her new YouTube channel.

First, she weighed in on the news that “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” is coming to an end after 20 seasons. Jenner revealed, “It was more of a family decision. Everybody kinda got together and they made a family decision about it… It was kind of time to move on. I think everybody’s done very well, entrepreneurial-wise.”

She continued, “There’s no bigger social media family in the world than my family… Actually, I can sit on the couch with all the girls and you could reach a half a billion people.”

Billy commented, “Isn’t that amazing?” and Caitlyn replied, “Isn’t that ridiculous?”

Caitlyn is proud of them, saying, “It’s been fun to watch them grow… I couldn’t be more proud of everyone of ’em the way they’ve done it.”

Switching gears to politics, Jenner, who voted for Donald Trump in 2016, told Billy, “One thing I have learned over the last two or three years is don’t talk politics… To be honest with you, I don’t know which way I’m going, what I’m going to do.”

Billy asked, “Wait a minute, you’re not voting for [Joe] Biden? You’re not voting for Trump? You have to vote for your son-in-law-ish.”

Caitlyn replied with a smile, saying, “My son-in-law, yes. Yes, that’s it. I’m voting for Kanyaaaaaaaaaye!”

Jenner also revealed to Billy that she is single. “I have never dated and probably never will… I have a lot of very good friends. Every day is filled. I’ve got things to do, and that’s not even one of them.”

As for her YouTube channel, she explained that COVID-19 was a deciding factor in starting it. “The pandemic was so tough on me… I hated not having anything to do. Actually, I talked to Kris about it and decided… why don’t I start this? And actually, it’s been so much fun.”

She added, “We’ve been able to do a variety of things; you know, cooking shows, makeup shows, this, that. The family will be involved. They’ve all agreed that ‘Hey, I want to do something.’ So yeah, I’ll have a little Kim thing, Kylie, Kendall… We’ve got some ideas we’re going to do.”

Billy asked, “But you have to get Kris’ permission, don’t you?” Laughing, Caitlyn said, “I already asked. I have her blessings.”

New The Batman Art Arrives in Honor of Batman Day

Published

Matt Reeves shared some new art today in honor of Batman Day. The Batman director is currently back to work on the project after two pretty major delays, which both had to do with the public health crisis. For now, the movie is still on track to be released next year, though anything can happen at this point in time when it comes to movie theaters opening and closing their doors.

The artwork that Matt Reeves shared this afternoon is from Eisner award winning comic book artist Bill Sienkiewicz. The image of the Dark Knight is more in line with the comics with an old school Bat Signal in the background. While it doesn’t appear to have anything to do with Reeves’ The Batman, it is still worth a look, especially since it’s actually Batman Day today. Reeves has shared quite a bit from his upcoming movie, which fans were able to see during the DC FanDome event back in August.

At the time of DC FanDome, Matt Reeves admitted that they had only shot about 30% of The Batman before the production was shut down. So, there were not a lot of DC fans who expected to get a full blown trailer for the movie. A behind-the-scenes look would have generated enough hype on its own, but the director went and delivered a trailer with our first real look at Robert Pattinson as the Dark Knight, along with the rest of the cast. Reeves definitely won the weekend with that surprise batch of footage.

Now, Matt Reeves and crew are back to work at Leavesden Studios, which is just outside of London. Production halted again when Robert Pattinson tested positive for the coronavirus. He quarantined and recovered for two weeks, while the rest of the cast and crew prepared to start work up again, for the second time this year. In addition to Pattinson, The Batman also stars Paul Dano as the Riddler, Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman, Colin Farrell as the Penguin, Andy Serkis Alfred, and Jeffrey Wright as Commissioner James Gordon.

In other Batman Day news, HBO Max has fans covered if they want to truly celebrate from the comfort of their own homes. Batman, Batman Returns, Batman Forever, Batman & Robin, Batman Begins, Batman v Superman: Ultimate Edition, Suicide Squad, Justice League, and

Joker are all streaming right now. This isn’t even taking into account all of the animated options that are also available to stream right now. Fans can also go back and read through some of their favorite comic books featuring the Dark Knight to celebrate the big day. As for Matt Reeves, he is more than likely working to bring the fans a new movie at the moment. In the meantime, you can check out the new artwork above, thanks to Matt Reeves’ Twitter account.

Gabourey Sidibe Says ‘Hollywood Seas Didn’t Part’ For Her In The Same Way They Did For Anna Kendrick After Both Being First Time Oscar Nominees

By Jamie Samhan.

Gabourey Sidibe was a first time Oscar nominee in 2010 for her part in “Precious” and is looking back at Hollywood’s acceptance of her, or rather, lack of.

Sidibe was not the only Academy Award newbie that year. Anna Kendrick was also a first-timer for Best Supporting Actress in “Up in the Air”. While neither actress won, Sidibe says that Hollywood didn’t open doors for her like they did Kendrick.

“I’ve heard the idea that I’m just lucky before,” Sidibe told Collider while promoting “Antebellum”. “I’ve heard that. I’m an extremely unlucky person, actually. I work really, really hard though. And no, the Hollywood seas didn’t part for me in the same way that it might have for maybe Anna Kendrick who was nominated for the first time that year as well, who then went on to star in films and television and the whole thing. The seas did not part that same way for me and I assume that there are a few factors that made that so, but I am still working 10 years later.”

Sidibe continued, saying that she is thankful for still working “12 years after having filmed” “Precious” and that she is “comfortable” with herself so the other parts that can come with stardom don’t matter to her.

“I know my artistry. And so, you know, starring in things or being on the covers of magazines, all of these things that say that I’ve ‘made it,’ everything that solidifies my position on the A-list, whatever that means, doesn’t actually mean anything to my self-worth and my sense of artistry.”

Sidibe’s post-Oscars career has mostly been television, including “American Horror Story”, “Empire” and “The Big C”.

“Antebellum” is available on VOD now.

‘Devastated’ Hillary Clinton to Rachel Maddow on RBG: ‘Let’s Not Give an Inch’ in Fight Against Mitch McConnell’s Hypocrisy: WATCH

Hillary Clinton called in to The Rachel Maddow Show shortly after news broke of the death of Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

“I hope that every American knows she was a historic, courageous person who moved our country forward in all the right ways,” said Clinton.

“I’m devastated by this Rachel,” Clinton added. “Just losing her is such a massive hole in my young adulthood, my becoming a lawyer, both practicing and teaching law, looking up to her, and following her career. But much more than that, it is such a devastating loss for justice and equality. What Ruth Bader Ginsburg did was to make it abundantly clear that the Constitution had to explicitly wherever possible be interpreted as providing for the equal rights of men and women.”

“With her loss, it is not only a personal loss but it’s a real threat to the steady march toward progress that we need to continue,” Clinton said.

In a second segment, Clinton dug into the upcoming SCOTUS vacancy battle.

Said Clinton: “Mitch McConnell denied Barack Obama. … That set in motion a series of events that did great damage to the Senate that can only be remedied by removing Mitch McConnell as the leader of the Senate. That has to happen in this election by getting a Democratic senate majority. But in the meantime, the Democrats who are in the Senate will have to use every single possible maneuver that is available to them to make it clear that they are not going to permit Mitch McConnell to enact the greatest travesty, the monument to hypocrisy that would arise from him attempting to fill this position.”

“If we have any hope of overcoming the divisiveness and the absolute poisonous atmosphere that currently infects our politics and unfortunately has riddled our institutions like the senate with this kind of ‘power over everything else’ mentality, I hope that there will be several Republican senators who say, ‘we are going to wait to see what happens with the election,’” Clinton continued.

“Every possible procedural obstacle has to be thrown in the way of this power drive by McConnell. There are things that can be done. They literally have to be done 24/7. … All these things may be difficult. But let’s go down fighting. And let’s not give an inch in the face of the kind of hypocrisy that met President Obama when he tried to fulfill his Constitutional obligation and appoint Merrick Garland to the Court.”
