“Ring of Honor has been my home for the last three years and I’m very excited to say that I’m not going anywhere for years and years to come, because ‘The Mercenary’ has signed a new multi-year, million-dollar deal,” Gordon said. “Now it’s time to win some ROH gold!”

Below is Ring of Honor’s full announcement:

Ring of Honor is pleased to confirm that Flip Gordon, one of the brightest young stars in pro wrestling, has signed a multi-year deal to remain with the company.

The signing was first announced on the premiere episode of “ROH Week By Week.”

The freakishly agile Gordon, who has a background in amateur wrestling, mixed martial arts and gymnastics, has come a long way in pro wrestling in a short time. The native of Kalispell, Mont., signed with ROH in 2017 after spending just over two years on the independent circuit.

After an impressive rookie year in ROH, Gordon was voted the Breakout Star of 2018. That year, Gordon got the better of Bully Ray in an intense feud and won the Sea of Honor tournament on the Chris Jericho cruise by defeating Silas Young, Marty Scurll, Dalton Castle and Jay Briscoe in succession.

Gordon shocked the wrestling world last year by joining Villain Enterprises and adopting a more ruthless attitude and in-ring style. He won a 20-man battle royal at Free Enterprise this past February to earn a future shot at the ROH World Championship.

Several figures in puerto rican in the diaspora, as are the host Daniela Droz, the actor and entrepreneur Julián Gil, the journalist María Celeste Arrarás and the comedian Noris Joffre, maintain a certain level of activity in the midst of the shutdown of much of the work in the state of Florida due to the pandemic coronavirus Covid-19.

The journalist María Celeste Arrarás is kept busy full-time, since the program Al rojo vivo, Telemundo, expanded to two hours of broadcast before the high flow of information on the disease that in the last week ranked the united States with over 100,000 positive cases. He regretted that the authorities in the city of Miami are not taking decisions that are more severe, as a single unit, but that each county is taking independent decisions, and there is not a control.

“This is a matter that we are going to see more within one to two weeks, because that is when it complies with time the wave of people that was in spring break with the mess that they had,” said the communicator. “It is frustrating that we’re keeping the quarantine voluntary, for which we are taking care of our families, to see this stream of irresponsible and when you come to realize what is going on, will already have exploited the thing and the hospitals are going to be collapsed“.

Arrarás applauded the handling of the emergency by the governor Wanda Vazquez on the Island, claiming that it ”has gone very well, because it has been clear and forceful“ in making decisions. “We can get that pest with force in Puerto Rico, because as is the hospital system that we know, it is very difficult to win the war in Puerto Rico.”

The actress and host Daniela Droz, also, continues the segment of entertainment “Full Access“ for Telemundo 31, in the city of Orlando, but from your home. The call of social isolation came just a day after his parents came to visit her, and to his son, Kenito, to enjoy a break for spring break.

“They closed the parks this weekend, they cancelled an event that we were to go on Saturday (march 14), and began to cancel and close things, and that is where we are frightened, and since that date, we have more than 15 days saved, that we shut ourselves up in this house and what we do is that we go to the part of the front, and back, nothing more,” he said. The studies of his son, the fruit of his terminated relationship with the reguetonero Ken-y, will start tomorrow from the home, what you know will be a challenge to your tolerance.

Droz was recognized that the uncertainty is what turns in the head, but you try to look at the positive side. “I’ve had to reinventarme with my son, talk with my parents, things that sometimes one stops for after with the excuse that you don’t have the time, but my fear is not knowing how we’re going to resolve this, or even when it’s going to last.”

Julián Gil was ready to go out yesterday to the facilities of Univision in Miami, when he spoke with this newspaper. To comply with the entertainment program “República deportiva“ and go to the grocery store are your only outputs from that began to increase the positive cases Covid-10 in Florida.

The pandemic was less than two months from the wedding of Nicole -the eldest of their three children – scheduled for the 2nd of may. The postpone to August, and then knew that his next son-in-law, Inigo, was diagnosed with cancer. “It has been very tough,” he said. “By decision of Nicole and him, decided to fight it (the disease), and then we will celebrate double, because we are well positive that will come out well of this.”

Nicole and Iñigo resides in Madrid, Spain, and beyond receiving the treatment for the cancer, so that they are constantly going in and out of the hospital, however, you’re taking care of, ” said the actor. “If you don’t watch it, you can give no matter where you are”.

The business La Placita keeps it open only for pick-up or deliveries, which accounted for only be working three of 28 employees.

On an artistic level, Julián Gil expects to be able to make a film that would roll from April in Peru and a work for which they rehearsed in Mexico. Meanwhile, every day cooking, exercise, watching television and doing things that they regularly do not.

The comedian Noris Joffre has seen all his artistic activity stopped, so he keeps doing his exercises and routines to break free a little bit new everyday. “I think that from here I go boxer,” joked the practice with his son Ricardo André.

Last Saturday had another breath to take part in a virtual meeting with their excompañeras of the programme “Between us”, Sonia Valentin, Maricarmen Avilés and Alba Nydia Díaz.

Noris Joffre

“After two weeks almost locked in the house, after that I removed microteatro, after that I removed the radio because I was participating in The Circus, after thinking about all that had stopped, and I don’t know when they will re-start the things that were correct, and if re-booting, the day of yesterday (Saturday) it was so wonderful, that it made me get out of the routine crazy that we are living, and I could go into the cyber world with the girls and we were all in another channel,” he shared.

A resident of Brevard County, Joffre hoped that a show, “The risatón”, which would along with other comedians and the imitator Julio Sabala in Las Vegas, keep to the 24 of June.

“To me, what worries me is not only this, but what is going to happen next. How many suicides will there be, how many depressions there is going to be, with the whole system collapsed, economically we are going to see grabbed by the tails, and there is coming the real pandemic,” he mused.
