Gigi Hadid’s dad has written a sweet message to his ‘little grandchild’.

Mohamed Hadid posted the – now deleted – handwritten poem on Instagram titled Grandpa’s Heart.

It read: ‘Hello little grandchild, it is me, my heart is as happy as can be.

‘I wish for you the sun and moon. I wish for you a happy time.

‘Know that grandpa’s always near, I’ll do anything, anything for your my dear.’

It went on to describe how he ‘smiled and wiped a tear away’ when he ‘heard you were on the way’.

‘I cried the tear because I knew, my heart would always belong to you’ the last line read.

In the caption the 71-year-old said: ‘In the name of God the The merciful I want to say l love you and so proud of you @gigihadid.’

Gigi, 25, is pregnant with her first child with her boyfriend, One Direction star Zayn Malik. She confirmed her baby joy in April but has previously said she didn’t feel the need to share regular updates during the coronavirus pandemic.

In August she confirmed she was over 33 weeks into her pregnancy during a photoshoot with her baby bump, meaning her little one should arrive at some point this month.

Recently her sister Bella Hadid shared a fun picture with her sister, joking there were ‘two buns in the oven’.

She wrote on Instagram: ‘Two buns in the oven except mine is from my burger and gigi’s is from @zayn.

‘I love you both so freaking much — can’tstopcrying’.

The fashion model cannot wait to become her Auntie, writing in reaction to Gigi’s recent shoot: ‘I will cherish this little bean forever. I am so proud of you @gigihadid. You are a glowing goddess of light, love, adventure and joy. Bless you.’

‘I’m not crying, ur crying (sic),’ Bella added in another post, before penning: ‘I’m literally in the fetal position hysterically crying, thank you for your curiosity.’

‘West Wing’ Reunion Adds Bill Clinton, Lin-Manuel Miranda

The West Wing special on HBO Max is welcoming some fresh additions. After first announcing A West Wing Special to Benefit When We All Vote last month, HBO has revealed some new guest stars who are expected to join the reunion, announcing today that former president Bill Clinton and composer Lin-Manuel Miranda will be joining the old Bartlet White House staff next month.

Along with the new names, HBO also officially set a date for the special, and in true patriotic fashion, it’s been revealed on National Voter Registration Day. A West Wing Special to Benefit When We All Vote will premiere only weeks before election day, on Oct. 15. We can expect to see the old crew back together again, with West Wing staples Rob Lowe, Dulé Hill, Allison Janney, Janel Moloney, Richard Schiff, Bradley Whitford and Martin Sheen all reprising their roles from the episode.

When We All Vote co-chair Michelle Obama will be joining Clinton and Miranda in the special, and there are newly announced some performances in store, too. Emmy award–winning composer W.G. Snuffy Walden will put his own spin on the The West Wing theme song, while folk rock band The Avett Brothers are set to close out the special with their own performance.

A West Wing Special to Benefit When We All Vote will bring together the original stars for the first time in nearly two decades. After 17 years, the main cast is reuniting with creator Aaron Sorkin and executive producer/director Thomas Schlamme for a presentation of Season 3’s “Hartsfield’s Landing” episode, performed under COVID Safe Way Forward Protocols.

Of course, we’re always up for a good cast reunion, but the West Wing special isn’t just about nostalgia. The Oct. 15 performance will benefit When We All Vote, a non-profit, nonpartisan organization co-chaired by Michelle Obama. Warner Media will make a donation to the organization, which was founded in 2018 in an effort to increase voter turnout with every election in America.
