Gigi Hadid’s Father Mohamed Makes Fans Think She Already Gave Birth!

Published

Mohamed Hadid is ready to be a grandpa already!

Gigi Hadid’s father caused quite a stir on Wednesday when he shared a sweet handwritten letter he wrote in honor of his grandchild. The real estate developer shared a photo of the heartwarming note, aptly titled Grandpa’s Heart, on Instagram, along with the caption:

“In the name of God the The merciful I want to say l love you and so proud of you. @gigihadid”

Naturally, fans went crazy over Mohamed’s words, with many speculating that it meant Gigi and Zayn Malik’s hotly-anticipated baby had already been born.

But looking at the note in full (below), it appears this could just have been a sweet expression to the unborn baby than a post-birth poem. He wrote:

“Hello little grandchild, it is me. My heart as happy as can be. I wish for you the sun and moon. I wish for you a happy time. Know that Grandpa’s always near. I’ll do anything, anything for you my dear. When I heard you were on the way, I smiled and wiped a tear away. I cried the tear because I knew my heart would always belong to you.”

Hmm… nothing in it says “welcome to the world” or anything that would indicate a delivery, so we’re not sold on this being evidence that baby Zigi is already here.

However, it appears Mohamed caused too much of a frenzy anyway — because the post has since been deleted!

So… what happened here, Perezcious readers? Did Gigi and co. not want to give the birth away? Considering Zayn and Gigi already had her baby news let out of the bag by momma Yolanda Hadid back in April when they were trying so hard to stay private, we imagine they would be pretty upset if they got the chance to share this news taken away from them, too.

But hey, maybe they just realized this very well-meaning post was misleading people and wanted that to stop? So many questions!

Fortunately, we were able to grab a screenshot before Grandpa Mohamed scrubbed the note from his page. Ch-ch-check out his letter (below) and share your thoughts in the comments.

Why’d he delete this!? / (c) Mohamed Hadid/Instagram

Either way, it’s a super sweet sentiment!

For now we’re very happy for Gigi AND (future) grandpa Mohamed!

@ Your Sus Mates: A Wild Feature On Apple’s New iOS 14 Alerts You When An App Is Listening In

Throw that tin foil hat you have to stop the government listening to you, straight into the bin. You won’t be needing that anymore because the Apple iPhone has unveiled a new feature in the iOS 14 update, that will show you exactly when your phone is listening in or watching you.

Wait, so does that mean they are admitting it? Our phone was actually listening to us this whole time. I knew it. So all those times I’ve spoken about a bad back and a mattress ad magically appears, was not in my head, it was real? I can’t believe it.

So what will this new feature look like? It will look like a little dot called a recording indicator. The dot will appear in the top right of your screen in either orange or green. When it’s orange it means the microphone has been accessed and when it’s green it means your camera has been accessed.

“And in Control Center, you can see if an app has used them recently,” said Apple.

When you swipe down on the corner of the dot, that’s when you can go into the control centre and see which apps are watching and listening to you.

We already know that we need to grant certain apps permission to use our microphone and camera. However, this new function will allow greater transparency around how these permissions are being used by apps.

God, this does make you wonder what permissions you’re really granting these apps. So maybe granting access to my camera roll just so I can see what I look like as a man, might not actually be the smartest move. I wonder what else they are doing with the photos in your camera roll?

However, Apple is dealing with that problem with a new function that will be rolled out in the new update.

“You can choose to share only selected items with a developer that asks for access to your photos, or you can give access to your entire library,” Apple said.

To be honest, I’m kind of excited because I hope some of the apps watching me will be totally unexpected.

Fruit Ninja, how could you? Nooo, not you too Mcdonald’s Monopoly app.

Wear a mask, wash your hands/It’s not like you have other plans/It’s awkward, but it’s cool/Following all these Covid rules,” Lipa and Corden sing on the Late Late Show stage, soundtracking a new couple’s first Zoom date and their six-feet-apart, heavily-Purell’d second date. And if coming into close contact isn’t safe to do right now (get tested regularly, people!), Lipa has a solid plan B in mind: “It’s you, your hand and OnlyFans.”

Last month, Lipa and the Blessed Madonna released Club Future Nostalgia, a remix album for her 2020 LP Future Nostalgia.
