Harry Potter RPG Hogwarts Legacy finally announced for all formats

It might have been revealed during the PS5 showcase but the long-awaited new Harry Potter game is on all current and next gen consoles.

Having first leaked almost exactly two years ago, Warner Bros. has finally unveiled their new Harry Potter game, which is set in the late 1800s and is called Hogwarts Legacy.

It was announced as part of the latest PlayStation 5 showcase, and the footage was taken from Sony’s console, but it is not a PlayStation exclusive. Instead it’ll be released sometime in 2021 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC.

Warner describes it as an ‘open-world, single-player, action role-playing video game’, where you’ll get to play a custom-created student at Hogwarts.

As with the Final Fantasy 16 reveal, Warner aren’t offering much more information than can be discerned from the trailer but apparently you’ll be able to grow your magical abilities, ‘by mastering spells, brewing potions, and taming fantastic beasts’.

You’ll also, ‘uncover an expansive world filled with perilous dangers tied to the wizarding world’s long forgotten past and an unusual ability that only they possess.’

Confirmed locations beyond Hogwarts include Forbidden Forest and Hogsmeade Village, as well as what looked to us like Diagon Alley.

The game’s being developed by Avalanche, who were bought by Warner in 2017 but were previous owned by Disney, for whom they made the surprisingly good Toy Story 3 and Disney Infinity.

Kailyn Lowry: Turns Out My Mom Is Still a B–ch!

Published

Like many of the stars of the Teen Mom franchise, Kailyn Lowry had a difficult childhood.

Unlike most of the others, however, Kail still is still not on good terms with the person who raised her.

In fact, prior to the phone call she received on Tuesday’s episode of Teen Mom 2, it seems Kail wasn’t even sure if her mother was still among the living.

The absentee mom, Suzi, called to inform Kail that her grandmother had passed away.

Kail was already aware of this, and was not too thrilled to hear from her mother.

Kail Crying

“I’m fine. I’m actually shocked you are calling me right now because I actually didn’t know if you were dead or alive,” she said during the unexpected call.

This apparently took Suzi by surprise.

“You didn’t receive any of my letters? The kids didn’t receive any cards?” she asked.

Kail Cries

This caused Kail to drop the facade of civility and let Suzi know what she really thinks:

“You don’t get to just pop up whenever you feel like it and you don’t get to call whenever you feel like it and you don’t get to send gifts whenever you feel like it,” said an increasingly irate Kail.

“You don’t get to do that.”

That may sound harsh — after all Suzi is obviously trying to make amends — but it’s important to bear in mind that Lowry’s mother is an alcoholic who has come and gone from life without explanation or apology.

Or at least that’s the version of events that Kail has put forth on TV and in her memoirs.

Lowry says she hasn’t seen her dad since 2009, and she adds that she’s happier without either of her parents in her life.

Kailyn Lowry is Miserable

“You have to be consistent, you have to be present and you have to be active all the time,” she continued, laying out the rules for her mother.

“I didn’t get cards for them, but if I did get cards for my kids, they don’t know who the f–k you are. My son is two years old and has never met you,” Kail continued.

“You have one child and three grandsons that have not heard from you in years. Years. Let that sink in.”

Suzi interjected that the situation wasn’t entirely her fault, a remark that Kail did not take lightly:

“It is all of your fault,” she fired back.

“And until you can take that responsibility and truly accept it for what it is, I can’t even have a conversation with you,” Kail said, before abruptly hanging up.

Later, she fumed about the phone call while speaking with a TM2 producer.

“You want to call me because your mom died? Go f–k yourself. You suck,” she said.

“You think that you’re the first person to f–king tell me? No, I was the first to know because I stay in contact with my family. No.”

Kail went on to reiterate that her mother is not undergoing treatment for her alcoholism.

In fact, she alleged that Suzi was drunk during their phone call.

“I’m not gonna keep reaching out to someone who’s consistently not sober and consistently bailing and consistently not active in my kids’ life,” she told the producer.

Kail Talks About Chris

“Why am I going to set my kids up with the same bullshit that I went through?”

Kail went on to admit that she’s angry about much more than just the surprise phone call — she’s angry about never having had any real relationship with her mother.

“I think I’m angry, I think I’m sad … I don’t have many good memories with her, so it’s hard to miss that,” she said.

Kail the Kids

“If she consistently called me after today [they could work things out] … but I know that’s not going to happen,” Kail added, laying out her expectations for her mom.

In a recent interview with Too Fab, Kail spoke about the call, which was teased in a trailer for the current season of Teen Mom 2:

“I don’t have a relationship with my mom,” she said at the time.

“I don’t know why she felt the need to reach out to me,” Lowry continued.

“So, yeah, that’s definitely not something that is happening currently in my life.”

Obviously, it was a painful scene for Kail.

And no doubt many viewers who have strained relationships with one or both of their parents found it sadly relatable.

While the Covid-19 pandemic continues to be a matter of concern, looks like ‘Love and Hip Hop’ star Alexis Skyy isn’t sure if she wants to give up partying with her pals just yet. The 26-year-old recently posted her ‘party’ stories on Instagram and within no time she was slammed by the internet.

Skyy recently posted an Instagram story where she was seen smoking a pipe and grooving while someone was holding her neck. In no time, the video was shared multiple times and several internet users slammed her for not adhering to social distancing. Some netizens also pointed out that Skyy’s behavior was particularly disturbing because she has a 2-year-old daughter, Alaiya Grace Maxwell, at home. @TheShadeRoom, which is Instagram’s third most engaged profile, posted her video and said, “Verified #PressPlay: #AlexisSky looking like she’s got them summertime boo’d up vibes going on. Harpo who dat mannnn?!” and the comment section was full of scathing comments.

One user slammed her saying, “So nobody but me scared to get corona and infect my family?!!!” to which several people replied saying, “They don’t care about no one except they self!” and some even called her selfish and said, “People are weird and selfish.” Talking about Skyy’s 2-year old daughter, one user said, “And her child is probably high risk. She’d need at least 14 days of quarantine before she goes around that child.” And another user said, “Especially her little daughter who has health issues already.”

Some netizens even talked about the ‘mystery man’ in the video and said, “She always got someone holding her neck like sis we don’t care lol.” Pointing out to the hands holding her by the neck, one Twitter user jokingly said, “Corona. His name is Corona.”

Skyy was born in New York City and grew up in Wyandanch. She is known for her work in ‘Love and Hip Hop: New York (2010)’, ‘Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood (2014)’ and Animaniacs (2020). In 2014, Skyy gained a lot of media attention for dating rapper Fetty Wap. After dating for two years, the couple parted ways in 2016. In October 2017, Skyy announced her pregnancy with Wap’s child. On January 2018, she gave birth to a three-month premature baby and the infant even underwent surgery for hydrocephalus.
