Ekta Kapoor’s Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 which got aired in September 2018 is finally bidding an adieu to the viewers after a run of two years. The show will telecast its final episode on October 3. We got talking to Shubhaavi Choksey, who essays the role of Mohini Basu in the show.

Talking about her reaction to learning that show is finally going off air, Shubhaavi said, “The production house informed me about it. And more than being surprised, I was taken aback. This show has been and will always be a very integral part of me especially because I did a comeback on television after a long sabbatical with this.”

“This character has been extremely close to my heart mainly because I am 99% opposite her in real life. Convincing myself for certain scenes and dialogues as Mohini Basu has been one of the most difficult things. But I had to do it with conviction so that our audience would enjoy the show and my character more. And since I love challenges I kept going on to make her better and stronger as much as I could. I am going to miss her attire though I won’t miss the anti-allergy medicines I have taken for the jewelry and zari though. I am going to miss her command as whenever she walked people just gave way and went silent. I am going to miss her flat tone of voice which was very intimidating for people. I am going to miss her,’ said Shubhaavi.

The actress shared an extremely strong bond with all her co-stars as well as the crew and while talking to us she did reveal who all is she going to miss the most, “I proudly say it every time that Kasautii is a set where everyone is filled with fun and laughter. Beginning from our directors Muzzu, Deepak, Khawaja & Jeetu. The encouraging creative team, the understanding production team, and the entire camera department starting with Deepak dada and then going to the crazy bubbly vivacious cast of The Basus, The Sharmas and The Bajajs. In fact, Ariah and Adi Irani sir also. This show has not only given me satisfaction as an actor but a big bunch of lovely friends too.”

The Boys starrer Antony Starr aka Homelander assures, Season 2 goes deeper with individual characters!

Amazon Prime Video’s hit superhero satire, The Boys is over halfway through its smashing second season. Love it or hate it, with the weekly release, we as fans cannot keep calm as every episode knocks the boot off from its predecessor. As much as we love our foul mouth vigilantes, it’s the narcissistic, mommy obsessed, sociopathic Homelander that has our minds blown weirdly. With Stormfront outrightly challenging his superiority, things have surely gotten all the more diabolical and messed up for our Home-Boy.

Speaking about Homelander traversing with a whole lot of complex emotions this season as opposed to the previous one, actor Anthony Starr said, “I think we got such a positive response from the fans for Season 1 who simply loved the honest take on superheroes and we see that continue in Season 2. Of course, the first season of any show is a feed-funding process, it’s a real process of discovery, trying to find out what the show is and what the tone is. In Season 2, we really played on our strengths, so all those old favorite hits of season 1 are back. But this time around, there is an extension on that and we expand the world of the show while taking all the characters in new territories and going deeper with individual characters. So, I think more of the same and a whole lot of new stuff and fans are going to love it”

5 episodes of The Boys season 2 are out and you can catch the fun behind the scene discussions on Prime Video: Rewind with Aisha Tyler after every episode. Watch the latest episode and stay tuned to new episodes every Friday till October 9 only on Amazon Prime Video
