Lionsgate’s Cobweb nabs Lizzy Caplan, Antony Starr & Cleopatra Coleman

Just ahead of the film’s production start, Lionsgate’s horror-pic Cobweb has begun building its cast with a roster of impressive talent with Lizzy Caplan (Castle Rock), Antony Starr (The Boys) and Cleopatra Coleman (In the Shadow of the Moon), according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Written by Chris Thomas Devlin (Texas Chainsaw Massacre) and directed by Samuel Bodin (Marianne), the film centers on a small town where a young boy begins to hear a mysterious tapping from inside the walls of his home and develops a suspicion that his parents are hiding a terrible secret.

Caplan and Starr have signed on to star as the parents of the boy in the film while Woody Norman, fresh off of BBC dramas The War of the Worlds and Poldark, is set to play Peter, the timid protagonist at the center of the story. Coleman is set to star as Miss Devine, Peter’s substitute teacher filling in at the local elementary school.

The film is set to be produced by Roy Lee (It Chapter Two) via his Vertigo Entertainment production banner alongside Seth Rogen (An American Pickle), Evan Goldberg (Good Boys) and James Weaver (Long Shot) through the trio’s Point Grey Pictures and Jon Berg (Justice League), while Andrew Childs (Death Note) and Josh Fagen (Blockers) are set to executive produce.

Production on Cobweb is set to begin later this month in Bulgaria following the conclusion of production on another Lionsgate title, The Devil’s Light.

After starring in the poorly-received Netflix sci-fi actioner Extinction, Emmy nominee Caplan returned to acclaimed television last year with the second season of Hulu’s Castle Rock as notorious Stephen King antagonist Annie Wilkes as well as the mixed-received Apple crime drama Truth Be Told. Upon breaking out as the lead of Cinemax’s action series Banshee, Starr has further become a standout star with his turn as the maniacal superhero Homelander in Amazon’s adaptation of The Boys and can next be seen in the British drama The Father, which is set to hit US theaters on December 18 and UK cinemas on January 8, 2021.

Rising up in the Australian television scene, Coleman found her breakout role in Fox’s post-apocalyptic comedy The Last Man on Earth with a main role across its four seasons and can next be seen in the ensemble dramedy The Argument alongside Maggie Q (Death of Me), Dan Fogler (The Walking Dead), Danny Pudi (Babysplitters) and Tyler James Williams (The Wedding Year).

Fall Equinox 2020 Will Be The Best For These 3 Zodiac Signs

Mother Nature has a series of moods. The springtime is colorful and vivacious; summer is warm and childlike; autumn is enchanting and mysterious; winter is mature and merciless. Something significant occurs at the start of each season, but these three signs will have the best fall equinox 2020: Gemini, Libra, and Aquarius.

This year’s autumnal equinox arrived on Tuesday, Sept. 22, at 9:30 a.m. ET in the Northern Hemisphere, upon the sun’s shift into Venus-ruled Libra. According to, the word “equinox,” which is derived from Latin, means equal night. During the equinox, the equilibrium between night and day (AKA dark and light) are nearly exact all over the world. The undeniable emphasis of equality very much coincides with the essence of harmony-seeking Libra, as it is symbolic of compromise, justice, and partnerships. Needless to say, there will always be a correlation between the physicality of the seasons and the astrological transits taking place.

Libra season kicks off at full speed. After the sun enters its Venusian territory, Mercury will shift into taboo-loving Scorpio, followed by Saturn — the taskmaster planet — stationing direct in Capricorn on Sept. 29, after four months retrograde. There will be a full moon in Aries on Oct. 1, and Pluto will station direct in Capricorn on Oct. 4. Are you ready to fall into the second half of 2020?

The first day of fall will be pretty sweet for Gemini, Libra, and Aquarius. Here’s why.

Gemini: You’re Expressing Your Affections With Confidence

Don’t repress your emotions, Gemini. Autumn has arrived, which means the sun is making its grand entrance through your vivacious fifth house of love, joy, authenticity, passion, and self-expression. Everything from your love life to your creative projects will benefit from this celestial pick-me-up, and with Venus dancing through your witty communication sector, you’ll get to simultaneously bask in mentally stimulating conversations, and pleasurable encounters.

Libra is a fellow air sign just like you, and there’s no better feeling than being in your element. The moon will also be in adventurous Sagittarius, via your committed seventh house of partnerships, and this will likely add more emotion to your interactions with others, especially those you’re in an agreement with.

Libra: You’re Feeling The Vibes And You’re Ready To Celebrate

Cheers to fabulous solar return, Libra. Your birthday season has officially begun, and your Venusian glow is as sparkly as ever. There’s something incredibly uplifting about the sun entering your sign, and you’re already basking in its radiant rays. Energizing and revitalizing, there’s a celebratory synergy happening between the sun and your cosmic ruler, Venus. Are you ready to gather your troops?

Lady Venus is sashaying through your socially driven 11th house of friendships, coworkers, colleagues, and extended network. You’re making quite an impression on your community, and you’re just getting started. The moon in Sagittarius could also make your exchanges more emotional than usual. Soak in all the love. It’s your birthday season, after all.

Aquarius: You’re Ready For Your Next Coupled Adventure

You’re living on the edge today, Aquarius. The sun is igniting your exotic ninth house of education, faith, foreign lands, and unknown territory, and you’ve got a serious case of wanderlust. The good news is Libra’s planetary ruler, Venus, is dazzling your committed seventh house of relationships, so you’re not going solo on this spontaneous getaway.

With the moon traveling through risk-taking Sagittarius, via your experimental 11th house of hopes, wishes, friendship groups, and sense of belonging in the world, you’ll more than likely be in the mood for something unconventional. Carpe diem.

The ‘WandaVision’ Trailer Got A Ton Of Views In Its First 24 Hours

The first-ever all-virtual Emmys may have gone way better than it should have, but ingenuity did not result in boffo ratings, sending the Jimmy Kimmel-hosted affair into an all-time ratings low. Still, there was one thing involved with it that got a ton of eyes: the trailer of Marvel’s show WandaVision, which bowed during the broadcast before dropping online and Hoovering up a shockingly high number of clicks.

As per Deadline, one estimate postulates that in the first 24 hours, after debuting Sunday night, the WandaVision ad was viewed 53 million times. The same source claims that broke a very specific record: drawing the most views for a streaming service ad spot in history (which is to say in the last ten years or so). If accurate, that’s on par with the splashy Super Bowl commercials for the likes of Avengers and Fast and Furious movies.

WandaVision is being sold as a genre-bending, ambitious brand of superhero content, reuniting lovers Wanda Maximof, aka Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany), who was killed by Thanos at the end of Avengers: Infinity War, and not in the way that he could come back like almost everyone else. The show is reportedly set after the events of Endgame, and it finds the two…trapped in what looks like a ‘50s sitcom? Before moving from black-and-white to color? The trailer is odd but intriguing and we’ll find out what on earth is going when it premieres in December on Disney+ — the first of a slew of Marvel shows heading there, among them The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Loki, Hawkeye, She-Hulk, and more.

You can watch (or rewatch) the trailer below:

“But I have to poop so bad,” she begged. “Why won’t you just let me go? Can I please go home and go poop?!”

Meanwhile, the officer learned there was in fact a warrant out for her arrest — and that’s when Emily started trying harder to get away.

The officer then asked her to get out of the vehicle, informing her that she was under arrest.

When she learned she was about to be arrested, she refused to get out of the car and then proceeded to lead the officer on a high-speed chase, blowing through stop signs and facing even more officers with their guns drawn.

Even after she finally surrendered, she returned to the “business” at hand. Watch the clip below, recorded on the officer’s body cam, to see how this bizarre traffic stop unfolded.
