Fort Salem (because it’s identified within the UK) takes it several steps in additional than different shows of its form, making a fleet of witches preventing humanity from being utterly out within the open and a group of rival witches explicitly painted as worldwide terrorists. The shortage of hiding their noble intentions and preventing opposition to villains that symbolize extraordinarily common fears may very well be a symptom of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It is utterly allotting with its characters’ personal alter egos for virtually the most half. Everybody is aware of Iron Man, and Tony Stark are the same.

For the ladies in Fort Salem, witchcraft isn’t an enjoyable perk that can be utilized to create various weekly hi-jinks, however a historic and non-optional calling that nearly definitely means an early death for the younger girls concerned. It’s harmful and in direct opposition to pursuing the ‘regular’ life that was central to shows like Charmed and even the 1960’s trailblazer Bewitched

Of course, being magical isn’t painted as a constructive factor at all times, with Buffy the Vampire Slayer notably utilizing it as a stand-in for habit. Willow’s descent into darkish magic spans throughout several seasons, and we’re shown that Giles’ personal teenage revolt additionally concerned the misuse of magic. It is a take that hasn’t actually adopted the style, with most tales equating power with only that – potential.

Still, the persecution of magic through the witch trials is usually utilized by tv writers as a helpful metaphor for the abuse of different minority teams. That continues in Fort Salem. It’s strictly implied that among the witches concerned within the authentic military have been there not of their very own free will, however as a result of they happened to be enslaved on time.

It was a concept that The Vampire Diaries flirted with, however, by no means dedicated to in any significant manner. Beginning with Bonnie Bennet, nearly every magical character to be Release was black. It was implied that prime society vampires had benefitted from their magic in addition to the atrocity of slavery. New Netflix drama Cursed additionally exhibits that the ‘Fey’ form is routinely considered with concern, their camps raided and their people murdered.

Total Overdose: Why The Franchise Should Revive ASAP?

You all remember the third-person shooter Total Overdose; the game was thoroughly enjoyed by the fans. The storyline and the mechanics were to the point at that time, and the game got positive reviews by the gamers.

It’s been 15 years since there is nothing new from the franchise, and now its high time to revive the franchise as soon as possible.

Total Overdose

Total Overdose could be revived in many ways, such as a possible sequel could be developed to create the hype once again, and new gamers get the chance to play the game with the introduction of modern technologies of gaming.

Is It Possible?

However, it’s totally possible that a new game could be on its way, but there are not any speculations regarding its release. So we can rule out its possibility as the project is not seriously considered by Render wire. A newer version could be a game-changer as it could compare with the likes of Max Payne and new title Control as the mechanics are pretty similar to these games.

Remastered Version

Another way to revive the franchise is to bring a remastered version of the game. In the modern era of gaming, remastered versions play a vital role and much appreciated by the gamers population. The same storyline with improved textures and graphics, this is what games want nowadays as games nowadays lack the long storyline to complete but enriched with high-tech graphics.

So the remastered version could come to the aid to revive the franchise once again as the game desperately needs a rework. It is apparent that the game was compared with the likes of GTA at that time, and it could be a worthy contender to get remastered.

But in our opinion, the game should have its next installment with better graphics and a fresh storyline.

Who’s the Boss? Revival in the Works, Starring Tony Danza and Alyssa Milano

That eternal TV question may finally get answered: A revival of Who’s the Boss? is in development, with original stars Tony Danza and Alyssa Milano returning to reprise their roles, our sister site Deadline reports.

The sequel series, which will be shopped to networks and streaming services by producers Sony Pictures Television, will take place 30 years later, with Milano’s Samantha now grown up and a single mother, living in the same house as the original series. The new take “will explore generational differences, as well as opposing world views and parenting styles within the dynamic of a modern family in 2020.”

Original stars Judith Light (Angela) and Danny Pintauro (Jonathan) aren’t slated to appear as of yet, but they are “supportive of the new series,” and producers hope to find a way to work them in. Katherine Helmond, who co-starred as Angela’s sassy mother Mona, passed away last year.

Debuting on ABC in 1984, Who’s the Boss? starred Danza as former ball player Tony Micelli, who took a job working as a housekeeper for yuppie businesswoman Angela (Light), moving into her Connecticut home along with his daughter Samantha. The series became a Top Ten Nielsen hit and ran for eight seasons, ending its run in 1992 after a total of 196 episodes.

The averages are based on the final national numbers (live plus same day viewing). The demos are typically reported with one decimal place but I’ve included two for more accurate ranking. Some of these shows started airing in the regular season but they are included here because a significant portion of their episodes will air during the summer months.

Keep in mind that the demo numbers are typically what’s most important to advertisers. Therefore, that’s how the networks measure success. Advertisers typically pay more for ad time on a show that has a higher demo rating. Because older viewers don’t count? No, it’s because younger viewers watch less traditional TV and are harder to reach. It’s also important to remember that ratings are designed to estimate how many people watch a show’s commercials — not the show itself. That’s what advertisers pay for.

What do you think? Are you surprised by any of the ratings? Which summer shows should be doing better?
